Genesis 1: 1-3

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.  The earth was without form and void and darkness was over the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.  And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light…”

God said “let there be” and it was.  Isn’t that crazy to you? He said let there be light and light just showed up!?!?! What if I said let there be chair and a chair just popped up from thin air?!?!? I would be on every news channel there ever was!  You know, in all actuality we do have that power.  Ok ok, maybe not the ability to make a chair come from thin air with just our words BUT God says that we have His mind (1 Corinthians 2:16) and He says as He is so are we (1 John 4:17) so why can’t we believe for unbelievable things? Why can’t we say “Let there be” and expect something to happen?

Last year my “Let there be” was a major certification I wanted to get.  I had no idea how to start or if I even had the work to qualify for the process.  But then I remembered that if God put this desire on my heart He will do it! He says that He is all the way faithful and He will surely do it (Philippians 1:6)!!! So I set out, I started the process and started studying.  I kept chugging along even when I didn’t think I could make it and by the end of the year I was certified!!! We’ll talk about details later.

I say all this because I know you have that thing. That dream, that business, that organization, that you want to start but you’ve let everything tell you, you can’t. Let’s not listen to that!! If we have His mind, the same mind that created the earth and all its glory, why can’t we see beyond our “thing”.  This creative God lives in us.  Why not dream again? Don’t you think He gave you those crazy dreams? Well some of them might have been from the pizza you ate at 1am but I digress…

Let’s get back to the point. If He gave you those dreams don’t you think He’ll give you what you need to make it happen? He says He’s given us everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).  He says that He’s faithful and just to complete the work He began in you (Philippians 1:6 and 2 Thessalonians 5:24).  He gives us permission to dream and act on those dreams.  So friend, dream again.  Sit back and dream for those big things.  Let’s take this journey together and make those dreams become reality!

Luke 1:37 “For nothing will be impossible with God”

Well, let me formally introduce you to this blog.  This is where we figure out how to make our dreams become reality.  God has so many plans for us but we don’t see them happen because we allow things like fear and thoughts of inadequacy stop us! This blog will help us (me and you!) figure out how to make these dreams become reality!! Take this journey with me! What is your “thing”? Comment below!!
